Grant Reporting

Reporting Requirements

Grant reports are an important element of the Ivey Foundation funding programs. These reports help the Foundation learn from the successes and challenges of grantees, measure the success of the funded activities, as well as help us evaluate our programs.

Final grant reports should not exceed four pages (not including the Grant Report Coversheet and attachments). Each grant report must contain the one-page Grant Report Coversheet and Financial Report (see below for format). Research papers, reports, media clippings, and other materials related to the grant should be appended to the grant report. Please e-mail your grant report to info@ivey.org and mail a copy with relevant appendices to our office.

Specific reporting requirements may be identified for individual projects in the grant letter, but in general we ask that you answer the following questions as you prepare your reports.

1.

Did you carry out the project as planned? If not, what changed and why? Did anything happen that you did not anticipate? If you had to do it all over again, what would you do differently? Describe the single most positive and negative aspects of the project.

2.

What results have you accomplished? How do you measure success and how have your contributions led to specific measurable results? How do the results of your work compare with the objectives identified in the proposal? What other progress have you made in achieving your goals?

3.

How did you find your experience working with the Ivey Foundation? Please provide feedback on positive aspects and areas where the relationship could be improved.

4.

How did your actual expenses compare with the budget you submitted? Please use the same format used in your proposal. Include a brief commentary where significant budget variances exist.

5.

We encourage you to provide interesting high resolution photos and images (no more than three), or internet links related to your project. For those that are publishable, please include permission for us to use them in our publications and include credit details.
